National KABA Announces Its Leadership Team and Reception at NAPABA
Irvine, CA – September 24, 2025
National KABA is pleased to announce the appointment of its leadership team. Formed in April 2025, National KABA is dedicated to uplifting and connecting the Korean American legal community, while also providing a home for legal professionals and law students in regions without a local Korean American bar association ("KABA"). National KABA endeavors to serve as a facilitator for the coordination and collaboration among regional KABAs, enable resource sharing, and create opportunities for joint initiatives. National KABA is proud to be led by the following executive committee members.
• Samuel Yu will serve as President. Sam is the managing partner of Kahana Feld's Irvine office and past president of OCKABA.
• Jenny Goak will serve as President‑Elect. Jenny is a senior associate at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton and past president KABA‑Washington.
• Gene Kang will serve as Vice President. Gene is a partner at Rivkin Radler and past president of KALAGNY.
• Sam H. You will serve as Treasurer. Sam is a founding partner of Ro & You and past president of KABA‑SoCal.
• Chang Lim will serve as Secretary. Chang is a partner at Knobbe Martens and past president of OCKABA.
Additional board members include Daniel Chung, a prosecutor and current president of KABA‑NorCal, Shannon Kim Hackett, managing attorney at Coates Frey & Hackett and current president of KABA‑Hawaii, Lawrence Han, partner at Rivkin Radler and current president of KALAGNY, and Larry Kim, senior legal counsel at Novelis and current president of KABA‑Georgia.
