PRESS RELEASE
NKABA Joins NAPABA as a National Associate
Irvine, CA – February 19, 2026
National KABA (NKABA) is proud to join the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) as a National Associate. Founded in 2025, NKABA works in coordination with regional Korean American Bar Associations (KABAs) to connect and uplift the Korean American legal community, and provides a home for professionals in regions without a local KABA.
"We are honored to be a National Associate and welcome the opportunity to partner with NAPABA in our mission to empower Korean American attorneys nationwide," said NKABA President Samuel Yu. "We hope this affiliation inspires deeper collaboration, stronger advocacy, and a shared commitment to justice."
NKABA now joins a community of over 90 local, state, regional, and national bar associations in the United States and Canada. In addition, NAPABA represents the interests of over 80,000 Asian Pacific American legal professionals and is a leader in addressing civil rights issues confronting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. Through its national network, NAPABA provides a strong voice for increased diversity of the federal and state judiciaries, advocates for equal opportunity in the workplace, works to eliminate hate crimes and anti-immigrant sentiment, and promotes the professional development of people of all backgrounds in the legal profession.
